In a feisty encounter between the West African rivals, clear cut opportunities were difficult to come by until the 32nd minute when the lively Daniel Etor delivered a brilliant free kick into the area but Oghenekaro Etebo who found himself at the end of the set piece headed wide.

Nigeria continued to dominate after the break and took the lead in the 55th minute through Ajayi who finished with aplomb after a brilliant pass from the irrepressible Etor.
Aminu Umar had a chance to double the advantage five minutes later but the Ghanaian defence came in with a
last-ditch clearance with the Nigerian forward about to pull the trigger.
But the Ghanaians could do nothing to stop Sokari on the 87th minute as the youth striker made it 2-0 for Nigeria.
The Dream Team will next face Senegal on September 12 in their final Group game as Nigeria bid to win the a first football gold at the All Africa Games and secure a ticket for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
