The party’s spokesperson, Chief Olisa Metuh, made this known yesterday in an exclusive interview with the Hausa Service of Voice of America, monitored in Jos.
According to MetuH, “Since the INEC boss had promised that he would be fair to all parties, we have no reason to say that we do not have confidence in him.
“We don’t want to say much on the appointment of the new chairman. We are waiting to see the outcome of Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections. He could only be benchmarked on his integrity
and promise after the Kogi and Bayelsa elections “he added.
Recall that the PDP had in recent past criticised the appointment of Amina Zakari, as acting INEC chairman, alleging that she would not be fair to PDP due to her relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari.
